The 2015 International Exchange Program (IP) Send-Off Event was held on 22 July 2015, and more than fifty persons including the members of faculty as well as the students participated with it.
In the first session, the KBS students shared their motivations behind choosing each MBA Exchange Program. Dean Hirokazu Kono and Associate Professor Yutaro Murakami were in attendance and talked about the various aspects of living and studying abroad. The professors' advice included paying attention to one's health and safety while overseas, trying something that one can only do while studying abroad, and lastly representing Japanese MBA students and specifically Keio Business School.
During the second session, the class of 2016 held a farewell party for their classmates leaving Japan. A student, currently studying at ESSEC, Paris, through the Double-Degree program (DD), also joined the farewell party via Skype.
Both the IP and DD programs represent a unique strength of Keio Business School. This event was realized by the IP and DD participants, who are especially eager to challenge themselves and expand their global network.
We hope to continue this tradition of promoting the IP and DD programs.
