In response to the spread of the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), the Graduate School of Business Administration, Keio University and Keio Business School (collectively referred to as KBS) have established Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Task Team, and are taking various actions and measures based on the following three basic policies.
Here we would like to inform you of our current responses regarding the degree programs, as well as of the schedules and plans for future activities.

KBS-BCP Task Team
One of the main features of KBS's education is the case method which involves face-to-face discussions, allowing students to acquire a wide range of knowledge, skills and mindset in the core courses. As such, we have been keenly examining ways to maintain the quality of group and class discussions in a remote environment, and have made preparations such as conducting trial classes in advance through online systems.
The classes of all courses will be delivered in an online format in principle during 2020 Spring Semester.
<Class schedule in and after April 2020>
a) 1st year students: Held new student orientation on April 28 (Tue). Started classes on the same day.
b) 2nd year students: Allowed only seminar activities in principle during the month of April. Started classes for specialized courses on April 30 (Thu).
We have started classes for the new academic year via online systems, in the way that follows the original curriculum. To do so, we have implemented various measures such as remotely broadcasting the fieldwork, and are making further efforts to provide the same educational effect as in-person classes.
The classes of all courses will be delivered in an online format in principle during 2020 Spring Semester.
<Class schedule in and after April 2020>
Started classes on and after April 30 (Thu), except for the courses that are difficult to change the class schedule.
We will not change the schedule of open house and class observation events in principle, but may switch to deliver them online if deemed necessary. The feasibility of additional information sessions at site is being examined.
Depending on the impact of the spread of COVID-19 infections, we may change part of the admission procedure and entrance examination method. In such cases, the detailed information will be posted on the KBS website.
